On December 12, experience the unforgiving chill of The Ice Age as Prison Breakout reveals its massive holiday update, coming today to all platforms. At the start of December, players noticed the Ice Wall forming around The Island - checking back daily to watch it rise. Now it’s here, enclosing the map in a chilly block of ice. Just in time for winter!

You can unlock exclusive cosmetics, Gold, Breakout XP and more with daily rewards! Make sure to login to Prison Breakout between December 12 and January 1, 2025 to unlock them.
Miss a day? Don’t worry, you have until the end of the year to login and claim all rewards during the festive period.
MAP CHANGES
The Ice Wall has frozen over the entire island, causing snow to fall everywhere - from major cities to even the smallest POIs. Fire escapes, ledges, billboards and more have all been redesigned to make the island truly winter-themed. We have relentlessly made sure that every corner of the map has been affected, and players will notice the huge difference the second they log into Prison Breakout.
GAMEPLAY
FIRST PERSON
Starting today, Prison Breakout is officially adding first-person, allowing you to shoot and throw grenades in the most immersive view possible. You can access first-person mode from the Quick Menu. ✅
TEXT CHAT
Don’t feel like talking? Microphone not working? Interact with your fellow criminals or guards without ever opening your mouth, all thanks to the brand new Text Chat feature. 💬
FLY, YOU FOOLS!
Make sure to visit the Airport, or even Area 51, to take command of your very own plane! ✈️
Fly around the map to admire the gigantic nature of the Ice Wall, rain terror from above, or help your fellow Criminals escape the confines of The Prison.
